The founder of Medic Management Group, Tom entered into a joint venture with SS&G to form SS&G Healthcare Services, LLC, in 1999 to focus on outsourced practice management services for small to mid-sized physician groups. Now known as Medic Management Group, the company today has transformed into a one-stop solution for healthcare management for the broad healthcare industry, with deep expertise in everything from revenue cycle optimization to practice management and operational and financial consulting.

Medic Manage Group, LLC. services clients in 26 states and works with over 2,000 physicians in their client practices.
Prior to joining Medic Management Group, Tom was president of practice management firm Telesis of Ohio, where he opened and grew the company to 123 employees and 185 primary care physicians in just 3 years. Before Telesis, Tom served as vice president of St. Luke’s Medical Center, where he was responsible for strategic planning, managed care contracting, and physician relations. His efforts led to the start of St. Luke’s Integrated Medical System (PHO) and Outreach Professional Systems – the first hospital-owned, non-staff, primary care group practice in Cleveland.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the University of Toledo, and his master’s degree in information science from Case Western Reserve University. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
