As a Team Lead at Medic Management Group, Heather Chadwell supports the Accounts Receivable team in order to achieve enhanced claim submission, improved payment turnaround times and optimal client satisfaction.
Heather brings over 12 years of industry experience to her role. Before joining the MMG team, she spent over a decade with Odyssey Health Systems, where she advanced from an AR representative to the position of Team Coordinator and had oversight of the Charge Entry, Clerical, Precertification and Cash Application departments.
Heather’s organized and detail-oriented nature paired with her technical knowledge make her a valuable asset to teammates and clients alike. She is especially skilled in the areas of claim denials, appeals, cash posting, charge entry, onboarding of new clients, and precertifications, and she has worked with several different billing systems, including Centricity, Med Host, Cerner, NexGen, Amkai, Advantix and Micro MD.
Heather holds an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Billing and Insurance Coding from Akron Herzing University, where she graduated on the President’s List and a member of the National Technical Honor Society.
