Helen Simmons
ABOUT
Helen Simmons is the Vice President Information Technology and Security at Medic Management Group. She joined the organization in 2015 and brings over 20 years of industry experience to her role. A relentless problem solver and innovative thinker, Helen partners with ELT and LOB leaders to evaluate company service offerings, business performance and IT roadmaps. She continuously seeks out relevant emerging technologies and innovations to solve business problems and automate processes, ensuring MMG and its clients are ahead of the curve in technology and security.
On a daily basis, Helen’s role includes defining and executing robust IT and security initiatives aligned with elements of NIST framework, Zero-Trust Security Measures, and HIPAA Security Rule, helping to achieve key business objectives and minimize risk to assets, reputation, clients, data and compliance. She also provides SaaS PM solutions and HL7 interfaces to clients.
Prior to joining MMG, Helen lead IT teams at SSG and Lake County, contributing to significant organization growth through the modernization of IT operations, security and infrastructure.
Helen holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology from Kent State University.
