Melissa Fielitz
ABOUT
Melissa is a Senior Revenue Cycle Manager with MMG overseeing a team of RCM professionals including team members specializing in charge entry, accounts receivable follow up, and payment posting. Her responsibilities include client service, quality control, and performance to documented service level agreements while leading collaboration in areas of continuous improvement and application of industry best practice. Melissa is skilled in AR Management, Coding, Denials, Collections and Bad Debt Management and has experience working with a broad range of tools and programs, including CPSI, AllScripts, Cerner, Medent, RevSpring products, various collection agencies, and early out programs.
With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Melissa previously served as Director of Corporate Reimbursement at Pomerene Hospital, where she oversaw all Revenue Cycle operations for both the hospital and its practices, including Billing, Patient Access, Health Information, Coding and implementation of their CDI program. Her management of the Physician Practices included OB/GYN, Midwifery, General Surgery, Family Practice and Internal Medicine.
Melissa earned her Associate of Applied Science at Stark State College and a Bachelors of Business Management from Kent State University.
